Best Face Mists for Summer Skin

Staying cool in the summer sun is never easy, but aside from making you feel hot and sweaty, the heat can play havoc with your skin. Of course, you should be making sure you drink plenty of extra water when it’s hot to combat dehydration, but one of my favourite ways to keep cool in the summer is with a refreshing face mist. Obviously, a simple water mist can help you stay cool, but the truth is that water is quickly evaporated from the skin so can leave your skin even more dehydrated; make sure that you’re choosing a cooling facial mist with hydrating properties to combat dry skin this season.

Here are a few of the best face mists…

OMOROVICZA | Queen of Hungary Mist

One of the original and best face mists on the market and a long-time staple in my kit. The neroli and rose scent lifts spirits on even the hottest day, and its hydrating properties make it a great face mist or toner to add into your regime.

VERSO | Anti Pollution Mist

If you’re spending the heatwave in the city (poor you!) then adding an anti-pollution mist into your on-the-go beauty bag will not only help you stay cool, but also protect your skin from free radicals.

JURLIQUE | Rosewater Balancing Mist 50ml

Jurlique has a host of cooling face mists, each with a hero ingredient offering a different benefit. The rosewater mist is great for balancing, calming and hydrating skin and can be used before your moisturiser, to set makeup or just for refreshing on-the-go.

BYOMA | Balancing Face Mist

This lightweight, pH-balanced facial mist instantly balances and soothes the skin. It contains a tri-ceramide complex, probiotics, and allantoin to support the skin’s microbiome, strengthen the barrier, and provide hydration for a healthier, glowing complexion.
